Today, we are writing with a very careful and heavy heart to share an important update.
Since launching in 2017, SalesDocks has never raised its monthly subscription price of $4.99. That was a deliberate decision. We wanted SalesDocks to remain affordable for small shops, solo business owners, and small teams managing orders and inventory every day with limited resources.
From the beginning, we believed SalesDocks should not be a tool only for large companies. We wanted it to be something small businesses could start using without hesitation. That is why we worked hard to keep the price as low as possible for as long as possible.
However, over the past few years, exchange rate increases have significantly raised our server and infrastructure costs, and it has become increasingly difficult to maintain stable operations and continue improving the service under the current pricing.
After a great deal of consideration, we have made the difficult decision to adjust our subscription price so that we can keep SalesDocks stable, reliable, and improving for the long term.
This was a decision we truly wanted to avoid. We know price changes can weigh most heavily on small businesses, which made this even harder for us. But in order to keep the service running responsibly, without lowering quality, we have reached a point where we can no longer delay this adjustment.
We understand this news may feel sudden. To everyone who has trusted and used SalesDocks for so long, we are sincerely sorry for the added burden.
What is changing?
The paid plan price will change as follows:
- Current price: $4.99 / month
- New price: $6.99 / month
For new subscribers
For all new subscriptions starting on or after April 3, 2026, the new monthly price of $6.99 will apply.
For existing subscribers
For customers who are already subscribed, we will not apply the new price immediately.
- Through December 31, 2026: $4.99 / month
- From January 1, 2027: $6.99 / month
We felt it was only right to provide a grace period so that long-time customers would not be affected all at once.
Why are we making this change now?
This is not a price increase for its own sake.
- Rising server costs due to exchange rate changes
- Higher infrastructure and operating expenses
- Increasing costs required for stable maintenance and continued product improvements
At SalesDocks, we have always tried to think first about the burden on our customers before thinking about raising prices. That is why we delayed this adjustment for as long as we could. But at this point, we believe this change is necessary to protect the quality and stability of the service.
Most of all, we still believe that small businesses should have access to a simple and affordable sales management tool. That principle has not changed. This adjustment is something we are making precisely because we want to keep serving those customers well in the years ahead.
What we want to say most clearly
Even after this price adjustment, we want SalesDocks to remain the easiest and most accessible sales management service for small businesses.
We do not want this to be seen as simply raising prices and moving on. We will work to repay your trust with clearer value, greater stability, and continued improvements you can feel in real use.
