Today, I want to share the story behind the name “SalesDocks” and the direction this service is taking.

It started with a small inconvenience

Around 2014, a friend who ran an auto parts business was tracking inventory in a phone memo app. Back then, the default memo app did not even support search. “Could we record on the go and find it instantly later?” That small inconvenience became the start of SalesDocks.

Why “SalesDocks”?

The “Dock” in SalesDocks comes from a harbor. Sales, purchases, inventory, and credits gather for a moment and then flow forward again. We wanted a calm place where anyone could keep that flow organized.

“The easiest sales management” is our goal

From the beginning, the idea was simple: “Anyone should be able to record it right away, even on the move.” Instead of a heavy ERP, start with what really matters and make it fast. That is the standard we keep.
